Summer Reading

Good Morning Everybody!

A couple of news items for the group.

1) The Mansfield Public Libraries Summer Reading page is now set up. The link is below. Remember that Reading is Assignment Number 1 each week. So, check out the page to remind yourself of what is happening with the Library summer reading programs, pick one (or more) things to do and READ.

2)  Check out the new widget on the side of the Blog. It is called Shelfari. You can put books on the bookshelf to show what you are reading. We would like to have the group share what they are reading this summer. If you leave a comment here or send an email with your book title, I will put it on the bookshelf. That way we all can see what each other is reading. For example later this summer I am going on a trip to Prince Edward Island, Canada. The island is the setting for a famous series of books about Anne of Green Gables. Perhaps you have read the book or see the recent PBS movie that was made from the books? Anyway, I am choosing to re-read one of my favorite stories to remind me of the wonderful island I will be visiting so I put it on the bookshelf to share. What book are you reading that you can share with the group?
