Who Is That Katie Person Anyway?

A little earlier this week I told you about my daughter Sarah who got married Saturday. If you have been watching a few of the videos you  will have noticed my other daughter, Katie. Since she is helping me out in some of the videos I thought I would tell you a little about her.

Katie is a Junior at Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic. She is studying Physical Education and someday hopes to be a Physical Education teacher like Ms. Parker, Mr. Dean, and Mr. Kronisch. She is also a member of Eastern's Softball team. Eastern has a great team. This year and last year they won their league title, they won the NCAA Division 3 New England Championship, and went on to play in the NCAA national tournament, where they finished 5th this year, and 3rd last year. They are very talented and fun to watch,but more than that they are a group of extraordinary young women who know how to be a team and work hard to achieve a goal. Katie is a back-up catcher on the team and gets to pinch hit and pinch run in games. If you have any softball questions post them here or drop an email and I am sure she can answer them. Also, she is a HUGE Harry Potter fan. Her reading goal this summer was to go back and read all of the Harry Potter books (which she did already as a youngster) so she would be ready for for the new Harry Potter movie.
